Kasper Hämäläinen (born August 8, 1986, Turku) is a Finnish footballer, who plays as a midfielder. He currently represents TPS of Finnish Premier Football League, Veikkausliiga. Hämäläinen is a regular member of the Finland national under-21 football team.
In June 2008, Portuguese BWINLIGA club C.D. Nacional was keen to sign him, but he was said to be too expensive.[1] He has visited Italian clubs AS Roma, SS Lazio, Udinese CalcioAC Siena. NEC Nijmegen has also been interested. After the 2008 season, he was near a move to an unnamed Italian club. He chosen to stay in Turku to secure first team football. and
