Jarkko Immonen, center - Like Callahan, the door is wide open for Immonen to have an impact year with the Rangers next season. Slotted behind Michawl Nylander, Martin Straka and Petr Prucha, Immonen could find himself moving into the role of third-line center for the Blueshirts.
An afterthought pick in 2002 (eighth round, 254th overall) Immonen's greatest strength is in the faceoff circle, where he has a very quick stick. In 14 games with the Rangers this season Immonen had a goal and five assists while averaging 10:22 of ice time. But at 25, Immonen needs to make his mark now on the Rangers if he hopes to have an NHL career in New York.
