Janne Mikael Happonen (born 18 June 1984 in Kuopio, Finland) is a Finnish ski jumperPuijon Hiihtoseura as his ski club. who has competed since 2002. He represents
Happonen has a silver medal in the team large hill event at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. He also has two silver medals in the team event at the FIS Ski Flying World Championships, earning them in 2006 and 2008. At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo, Happonen finished 37th in the individual large hill event.
He has three victories at a variety of hills since 2006 though his lone individual win came in an individual large hill event in Finland in March 2008.
