Breakdown: Jussi Jaaskelainen
The talk around the training ground is that the club refused to deal with Harrison after he was shown in the BBC programme telling an undercover reporter that he smoothed through deals at the Reebok Stadium by making secret payments to Craig Allardyce, son of then manager Sam.
Jaaskelainen insisted he wanted to retain Harrison as his agent and although Bolton turned down Sunderland?s first offer of about £2 million before finally contacting Harrison with a new deal for Jaaskelainen, the player is still set to move to the Stadium of Light.
It remains to be seen what reception Harrison receives at Allardyce?s new club, Newcastle, where he represents promising youngsters Andy Carroll and Matty Pattison.
